ScanSource Deals

Last year I designed a website that would highlight vendor-specific product deals that were available to customers through ScanSource. While this information was available in other locations throughout their primary website, there was not a central location for customers to view these deals in an easily digestible presentation. It was so successful that in early 2012, I redesigned the website with a Poker theme that they called The Deal and added gaming elements that would drive traffic back to the site where they would see new product deals throughout each month.

In the game, users are dealt two coded cards via snail mail that, once received, they enter at The Deal website. At the website they’ll see five cards, two of which are the coded cards they were mailed and three community cards. After they enter their code, all five cards are revealed, showing the user their hand and earning them points towards a trip to Las Vegas.

Michelin Demo Challenge

This logo was created for in an internal Michelin promotion that included their international offices.

Verizon’s Superfan Sweepstakes

This website was created as part of Verizons sponsorship of the LA Lakers. The focus of this online sweepstakes was to pair you up with the ultimate Lakers superfan, Ricky “Stretch” Stevens. You are able to choose a 1, 2 or 3 point shot for Ricky in hopes of him earning you entry points towards Lakers courtside seats. Sometimes he bricks, sometimes it’s nothing but net.

Erwin Penland Advertising

Erwin Penland, my current place of employment, was founded in 1986. This year commemorates the 25th anniversary of the agency. As part of this milestone, I was presented with opportunity to redesign the logo and identity. The P mimics the shape of a dialogue box, outlining the E and conveying the idea of conversation.

Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association

The 2012 MCLA National Championships will be held in Greenville, SC. The requirements of the logo were to include elements of lacrosse while also representing the city. Downtown Greenville is home to one of the most scenic parks in the Southeast - Reedy River at Falls Park. The logo includes a lacrosse player situated underneath the park’s suspension bridge, with the Reedy River flowing behind him.
